Mom’s Weekend

Thank you to all of our moms, aunts, grandmas, and sisters that came to visit for Mom’s Weekend 2012!

We are pleased to announce we raised $1,907 from our silent auction, all of which will be donated to the Harmony House to help their mission to end domestic violence!

Every fall semester, our annual Mom’s Weekend is held. The weekend is not only limited to our mothers, however. Many members enjoy the company of their aunts, sisters, or grandmas as well as their mothers.

Activities vary from year to year. In the past we have had trivia nights, seen the broadway show Mamma Mia!, painted pottery, played Bunco, and watched the Skinny Improv comedy group. One thing that is constant among Mom’s Weekend is the silent auction and brunch that is held on Sunday. Several moms donate baskets for the auction, which are then auctioned off to raise money for our local philanthropy, the Harmony House.

Last year we raised $1,026 for the Harmony House from our Mom’s Weekend silent auction.
